My name is Justin Chookasezian. I’m a Digital Marketing Specialist and VP of Marketing & Partnerships at FaZe Vegas with over 9 years of experience driving growth for esports brands. At FaZe Vegas, I've generated over $1.45M in team-branded microtransaction sales, launched a merch store that cleared $135K in gross sales, and grown the organization's social following by 57% year-over-year. I took the brand's TikTok from zero to 200K followers in under a year, blowing past the one-year goal in just four months while consistently ranking in the top 3 for engagement across competing esports brands.

Beyond content, I've secured and renewed major partnerships with brands like Monster Energy, SteelSeries, and Battle Beaver, and closed a $200K partnership with LVCVA to host a marquee Las Vegas event. I'm equally comfortable building a creative team from scratch, managing large-scale event activations, or crafting the strategy that ties it all together.

MY BACKGROUND

  • FaZe Vegas

    VP OF MARKETING AND PARTNERSHIPS

    I started with FaZe Esports as the Creative Director at their official Call of Duty League team ‘Atlanta FaZe’ - later renamed to ‘FaZe Vegas.’

    In my first year at FaZe, I lead a 5-person creative team to reverse our declining follower count on instagram and propel Atlanta FaZe to top 3 in total engagement across all CDL teams. This consistent content output strengthened our relationships with partners such as Monster Energy, Battle Beaver, and Steelseries.

    In my second year, I was promoted to General Manager and smashed company records in merchandise sales and team-branded microtransactions.

    Now, as VP of Marketing and Partnerships, I spearheaded the announcement of our company rebrand from Atlanta to Vegas, and helped secure two additional sponsor in Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop and the LVCVA.

    VIDEOGRAPHER & VIDEO EDITOR

    In 2024, I was recruited by Playstation to shoot and edit promotional content for the launch of their Game of The Year winning title ‘Astro Bot.’

    The content was shot with hollywood celebrity Finn Wolfward, and launched on his peronsal instagram with over 110k likes and 1500 shares.

  • College Esports News

    FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Started as a passion project between college friends, CEN was founded on the idea of creating a centralized news source for all things College Esports.

    As Creative Director, I led a team of 36 volunteer writer and video editors to create engaging content across Twitter, YouTube, Tiktok, and Instagram. Together.

    Today, CEN is widely regarded in the College Esports community for their content and interactive twitter sweepstakes. In 2024, they announced a partnership with College Athletic Conference Esports (ECAC) league as their official media sponsor.

  • NAC Esports

    BROADCAST & CONTENT MANAGER

    NACE is a non-profit organization focused on pioneering collegiate esports as a legitmate career path and scholastic program. It is the largest member association of varsity esports programs in North America.

    In 2021, I was recruited as the Broadcast and Content Director of their Collegiate League known as “NACE Starleague.”

    During that time, I directed all of NACE’s video content from ideation to end-of-production, collaborating with company partners weekly to conceptualize upcoming content with high-profile brands, including AMD, Corsair, GUNNAR Optiks, and Mavix Gaming.

    EDITOR & CONTENT MANAGER

    In 2021, I joined forces with short-form content creator CutiePebbs as her official editor and content manager.

    Together, we hit a consistent upload cadence of 1 video a day for over a year. During that time, CutiePebbs gained over 40k new followers and over 1M likes on TikTok.
